He Brings Joy

Sigh…we are so blessed to have this little peanut in our family.

Despite the fact that he’s only had a couple of weeks since birth that he’s either not been sick or not been on an antibiotic, he smiles.  He’s already an inspiration, and my little hero.

Someone else fills our home with lots of joy.  Even when he doesn’t know it, and thinks nothing of the fact that he NEEDS to wear his “Bunny Decoder Glasses” to complete the scavenger hunt to find his Easter Basket.  Clearly that was for our own enjoyment…but it was joy, lots of joy :).

And, this story is super cute.  Asher has a subscription to the Lego Club Jr. magazine.  They have contests every month that children can enter by building a model based on the theme they give.  The winner of the contest receives $100.  I tried to explain how the contest works to Asher, several times, but all he seemed to understand was that he needed to build a football, we send a picture in of him, they send him $100.  He finished building his football and kept walking around the house saying, “Whooo, hundred dollars, boom!  Yeah, baby!”  So completely excited that he already won and he just needed to wait for his big, fat check to arrive, ha!  This is the picture I was to mail in for the football contest.  We realized last night we missed the deadline for this contest, so I’m sure I’ll be posting a pic of his next creation soon :).

I’m not sure if the song is recognizable to anyone besides Jeremy and me, but it sure brings us joy :).

Oh my, those boys are so cute!!! Loved those videos!! Beck’s little giggle is just too much…how could you not smile and giggle yourself watching that! 🙂 Just precious! And seeing Asher “in action” even more than in pictures makes me realize just how big he’s getting! My goodness!

I Love that song, Asher! You are a great singer. I’m going to ask Joel B if we can do that one on Sunday 🙂
Keep singing for Jesus. I hope to have you in Voice of Truth one day.

Just watched these videos with the boys! Rowan LOVED Beck’s laughing…..and we could totally recognize the song Asher was singing. Graham knew it too. 🙂 I loved Asher’s “concentrating” eyes when he was singing! I am loving to watch how God is bringing/restoring JOY to your whole family through Beck…..and also Asher every day. Love you so much!

Oh, there’s so much joy in this post! I love it! Only Asher would skip nursery rhymes and head right to awesome music! I would not be surprised if he’s a musician someday! And, Beck, sweet Beck. He is so happy and fun!

Between Beck’s sweet, little laugh and Asher’s singing (which I recognize btw) I could watch all day. So fun.
