Well, the blog was broken again. It was making me sick. More lost memories, and more begging Jeremy to fix it. He’s spent so much time coding and uncoding that I’m really praying we won’t have the problem again…or I might cry…a lot.
Some things I don’t want to forget…
This will go down as one of my most favorite memories. Daddy was working, so Asher, Beck and I decided to go and take a train tour through some vintagy trains. We had a ton of fun walking through and back and through again on the trains. We were making up stories about all the passengers and enjoying looking at their pretty luxurious quarters, and Beck just snuggled up in his Bjorn. The funny memory from our time – it was just the three of us walking through this old train, absolutely no one else in there, it was a little creepy, Asher was a few steps ahead of me and he rounds a corner and turns around and says in this soft, wispy voice, “this is where all the bad guys sleep”. I got a little picture of what my life will look like with teenage boys in the house, getting great joy out of scaring their mother, ha!
The day ended up being one of the best memories because then we met Daddy at our favorite park and enjoyed a beautiful evening playing frisbee, running around, and swooning over Beck. It was the best.
Whether it’s a camera or his face, Asher is all up in Beck’s grill all the time. He loves his brother so much, and it’s really fun watching Beck respond to Asher. We can already tell that Asher is his hero.
Seriously. Could you be anymore comfortable?!
Shanny and I took the boys to a splash pad, and they had a blast slip sliding around. I’m constantly amazed at how tough Asher is. He takes some pretty hard falls and gets up like nothing happened, as I’m following him around asking him if he’s ok. He fell hard at the splash pad and hit his head on the ground (which I thought was spongy), got up rubbing his head and said, “I hit my head.” Sheesh. I love that you’re tough Asher, but your high pain tolerance frightens me.
Water balloon fights with Daddy are the best.
you guys are seriously the coolest. I don’t know how you find all these fun things to do, but you are always doing them! What blessed little guys! love the new blog too! So good to see you guys again 🙂 the pictures melt me! love them!
SOOO cute!! It makes me miss you guys and wish we were hanging out 🙂
Love that your back on! It was fun catching up,The boys are getting big!
Love all the memories being made here! The train park = awesomeness for boys, but I’m with you, it’s slightly creepy in a haunted sort of way. And doesn’t it even smell haunted?! Love the splash pad pics. . . of course, I can picture Asher taking a header and shaking it off like ‘what’s the big deal’. Tough guy! And, little Beck. . . his hands are so perfect! I love how he’s discovering them!
YAY!! So glad the blog is working again!! 🙂 You are such a fun Mama! Love seeing some of the things you’ve done with the boys!
