Update

Just had to take a pic a few weeks ago when Beck was sick and I went to feed him.  He has had a lot of meds flowing through his little body already…he’s so precious.  He hasn’t fought us on anything…well, except for his Xopenex aero chamber puffer thing, he desperately hates that thing!  But this little boy just muscles down everything we throw his way.  On top of lots of different meds and their flavors, he has to take those nasty liquid vitamins too.  He’s such a champ.  I can’t stop telling people about how content and happy he is.  He will just hang out in his little jungle or swing and play by himself (with a few rambunctious visits from his brother) for 30 minutes.  He likes to go swinging and sit next to Asher when he does his treatment.  I’m sure we could talk for awhile about how it’s probably not the best for your weeks old baby to watch tv for so long, but we live in a world of lots of treatments, so therefore lots of tv.  I like to look at it as him being a supportive brother :).  Beck, we are truly blessed with all your smiles, and so thankful to have you a part of our family.

My cell phone is usually more accessible than the honkin’ camera, and I had to post a couple of these cutie shots…

Someone likes to take showers now.  He’s getting so big…

The boys…and yes, more hammock pictures, ha!

Came across this pic of my mom holding Beck in the nicu and thought I would post it because it’s sweet, and it’s nice to remember how far Beck has come.  I remember this day because after I fed Beck I went to lay down in a room for an hour until I needed to be back to feed him…and came back to find that the nurses had removed his iv from his hand and moved it to his head.  Iv’s only last so long, so there is a lot of relocating.  But this location about sent me over the edge.  I hated it, and made sure every nurse knew about it.  Thankfully (or not I guess) it didn’t last long and needed to be moved to his arm.

Took Beck in today for his 2 month shots and he weighed in at 14 lbs 2 oz.  So pleased with all his squishy rolls!!  He’s still on a formula that is only amino acids, because of his dairy allergy, and may be for awhile.  But, it’s hard to argue with numbers and rolls like these :).

You could post 100 photos of your adorable boys and I would look at them all…at least twice! Even though we haven’t seen you in-oh I don’t know- months….we feel like we’re right there with you. Love the rolls, smiles and joy oozing out of these posts!

Wow! Your boys ARE getting big. Beck has more rolls than a baker and oh, what a blessing! I love the backpacking photos of Asher–such a cool experience that he will likely never forget. Adorable! Still prayin’ for each one of you.

Beck has captured your heart and you are filled with joy. Me too, just reading this and seeing these pictures. I love how you dominate the mom thing. You teach me so much with your big ‘ol dedicated heart. You’re in my prayers and I love reading that Beck weighs 14 lbs. XOXO
