May 2012
We were blessed to have Grandma and Grandpa Olimb come down for Easter and to meet their newest grandbaby. We didn’t do much having just gotten out of the nicu and trying to figure out life again with a newborn, but we did get in a few Easter-y activities. Our neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt, bounce houses, and a balloon maker guy at the park by our house, so we walked over and made some memories. A few that stood out: Seeing Grandma Olimb get a little competitive and pass along some egg hunting tips to Asher; Grandpa Olimb taking Asher’s place next to the Easter Bunny; and, watching Asher somehow convince the Easter Bunny to let him spear him with his balloon sword.
Happy Easter from the Olimb Boys! How blessed are we!!!
We had our Second Annual dinner and egg hunt with the Hoverson’s! Asher found the big, huge, prize-infested golden egg last year, Micah found it this year, and we’re all hoping that Isaac finds it next year or he might quit :). This picture makes me laugh. I completely spaced Asher’s Easter basket. He’s the one with the Safeway shopping bag. Nice, ha!
Thanks for sharing all the fun pictures. Asher and I are the best ‘egg gathering’ team ever 🙂
It was such a blessing to spend time with you guys and celebrate Easter together…Love you lots!
How fun to have family with you for Easter…and what a huge blessing to have Beck out of the NICU for Easter!! That 4th pic down of the boys together with Asher looking at Beck made me teary eyed. Granted, I’ve got pregnancy hormones in full swing, but it’s just so precious the way he’s looking at him and touching his little arm. And I love the Safeway bag Easter basket! Ha! We did that 2 Halloweens ago…forgot Addysen’s pumpkin so she used my diaper bag for her “trick or treating” at a church event we went to…ha!
What a great time for all!
