At home
We left the hospital yesterday (Monday) at about 11:30 am and hallelujah for that. I hate the hospital. The recovery room is a joke. It’s about 10×10 with a hospital bed in the middle and a recliner in the corner (which I got to sleep on…barely).
Anyway, enough complaining about the awesome, claustrophobic hospital room. The good news is that we are home with our boy. The first night went about like I expected. We went to bed about 9:30pm and he was up about 3 times during the night. I felt pretty bad for Rachel because she had to stay up for an hour or so each time but she is a great mom and raised to the challenge.
So far so good…

I’m sure you have heard by now, but in case you haven’t, we are not too far behind you in entering the world of parenthood! Lisa is due April 16th and we are very excited!! Should know what we are having in a little less than 4 more weeks – we’ll keep you posted. Check our blog for updates.
