Ten years ago this New Year’s Eve we had to release our third child, Karsten Emmanuel, into Jesus’ arms. He also had a heart only made for a quick stop here on his way to heaven. I know your pain like only grieving parents can know. I know there are no words. But I also know that there is peace that passes understanding and that God has both our wee babes in His arms. You are in my prayers and although we are strangers if you want to talk to someone who has walked this journey please feel free to email.

    He worketh steadily.
    Offtimes He weaveth sorrow,
    And I in foolish pride
    Forget He see the upper

Not till the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
    Will God unfold the pattern

I put your families name on the prayer roll of the church I belong to. That means that countless prayers will be said for your family and for comfort at this time. My heart is broken for you. How blessed we are to know that you will see Paxon again someday and he will have a perfect body. If you can’t hold him in your arms who better to than Jesus Christ.

I heard of your story from Heather Owens and others at Second Mile. Just wanted you to know that I am one more person lifting you and your family up in prayer and rejoicing in the fact that your sweet baby boy is in the presence of our Lord and Savior. Weeping with you and praying for you.

I am the sister-in-law of Marty & Jessica McAlpine. They just moved down from Minnesota for Marty’s new job at your church. We heard about your loss and wanted to let you know that we are praying for your family during this difficult time. May the Lord cause you to fall more-in-love with Jesus and draw you closer to each other as you grieve your loss.
