Feb 2016
We wrapped up the baseball season in November.
Duckin’ for home!
He looks like a little pro here :).
The Grays had a little bit of a hard season, but they ended with a WIN! It was super exciting! It was an honor and we made some wonderful memories being a part of the Grays with Coach Brian.
We are so blessed to get to live by Grandma Joy Joy, and get to celebrate her!!!
I took a tired 3 year old to Ikea, ha! He’s so crazy, and practically falls asleep while I’m filming him, lol! This is a crack up…
Beck’s first time to the zoo! It’s unfortunate for him that I’m not a big zoo fan. But I need to put my feelings about animals in cages aside, because we had so much fun together and with our friends!
He even sang to the goats :).
Just an average day in the land of loud and crazy :).
I love how much the boys look like each other.
The morning I had to take a picture just because. Just because we had the sweetest little talk. Just because I love him. Just because I’m thankful God gave him to us to love and care for. This kid is sunshine.
And, this one. Sigh…so thankful for all the alone time we get to have. Some days I wish the boys were closer in age…but then I wouldn’t get this little Punkers all to myself for most of the day. He’s such a treat.
Thanks to Grandma Olimb I was able to go with Asher on his field trip to the Science Museum! So fun getting to hang out with him and his class!
These might be two of my favorite videos. I just love watching the boys play together, and hanging out in our backyard. And, Asher’s love for soccer just continues to grow :).
So fun to have another season with the leaves! Watching our backyard transform is one of my favorites, and the boys love playing in them…but Daddy is so happy they are gone now and order has been restored :).
Does this picture need a caption or what?!
The puzzle man. He’s serious about them :).
Dec 2015
Too many fun things in one month :). On top of a big conference, and a Cali trip, we…
….Went jetskiing through beautiful canons with our friends! Punkie kept shouting, “I’m freaking out!!!!”
….Went to our favorite Pumpkin Patch, and ended up in a huge hail storm! We had a fast, fun time before the storm hit, and it ended with us all soaked and muddy! We made a memory :).
This might go down as the most hurt and frustrated I’ve seen Punkie in his whole 3 years of life. He was so determined to drive these cars, but they were too big and heavy for him to do a lot about it. He would hop from one car to the next, every time leaving with a broken heart. He sure put his all into this though.
…Went to this cute little area in Scottsdale with a cool library and a fun courtyard. We were soaking up the time that Asher was still out of school from fall break. We had so much fun this day, and spent about 3 hours hanging out reading books together in the library.
….Celebrating our first. Asher turned 8 years told, and we can’t even get our arms wrapped around that monumental number. He’s so big. Soccer, friends and family, and pizza are his favorite things in life. So what better way to celebrate this love of ours, then to wrap them all up into one afternoon :).
Asher got to take home the birthday bag at school this week, with lots of fun prizes for him to choose from, and he added his wish to the classroom birthday journal. “If I had one wish I would be in Minecraft in real life and I would be building my own home under water now that would be cool.”
Last night as a 7 year old!
Asher’s favorite part about being 8. No more booster seat :).
….Went to the Hotair Balloon Festival! So pretty and quite magical being that close to these balloons!
….Kicked off Halloween 2015 with a pancake breakfast and airplane rides over the city! Beck and I went together, and Asher and Daddy were together. Beck’s pilot was literally hands off for the most of the flight, except for take off and landing. It was a little alarming how much, ha! He kept saying, ok let’s give Mommy a tickle in her stomach and push fast on the steering wheel…and then he would laugh, ha! Beck had a blast :).
Looking for Daddy and Asher in the sky, ha!
Trick or Treating around our neighborhood!
….most mornings begin with a nerf battle.
….have been enjoying the beautiful weather!
….went to the season closer of the D-Backs! We love taking the boys to these games! They’re so family friendly and exciting! The most hilarious memory…last time we were at the game we missed seeing Baxter, who Beck calls “Pastor”. He cried because we didn’t get to see him. This time, he cried because he saw him and realized he’s terrified of him, lol!! It was awesome. It required about an inning of convincing him that he didn’t need to be scared, and he found the courage to stand in line again with Asher :).
Nov 2015
This year, Phoenix hosted The National Cystic Fibrosis Conference. We were so fortunate to be invited to attend the volunteer sessions, as well as one of the plenary sessions, which had over 4,000 attendees, most of them were scientists from around the world. The night before the conference kicked off, we were invited to a cocktail hour and dinner that was hosted by our Arizona Chapter. We love our director, Nicole, and the whole team of people that work so hard for our boys. Our chapter has evolved over the eight years since we joined “the club” are we’re so thankful for the great strides that have been made locally, as well as nationally.
The three days that we spent involved with the conference were such a blessing…and a little overwhelming at times. Jeremy and I kept saying, “I can’t believe we get to be here right now.” The conference had an added emotional tenor, because Dr. Robert Beall, the President and CEO of the Foundation was handing the baton onto Dr. Preston Campbell. We were at three different parties where he gave his “farewell” speech, and there wasn’t one that we didn’t have tears over. When you hear stories about how a man has sacrificed his own life and poured his heart into the science behind something that will maybe one day give your boys freedom…words of appreciation feel petty. But, truly, our hearts are so thankful for this man and all he’s done to plow the road, and lay a firm Foundation for his successors.
We left the conference with real hope. We pray this hope becomes a reality. Like. Tomorrow.
After the conference, we took off for our family vacation to San Clemente with our friends. San Clemente will always be a special place to us, as we now have so many years of memories wrapped up into that little beach town. Heading into this trip though, right after all of the emotions of the conference made things a little more challenging. The amount of equipment, supplies, medicine, food, and consideration the boys need to manage the disease is a lot. While we were there Asher’s new vest ripped open, Asher’s airway clearance machine started malfunctioning because of the humidity, and I spent a lot of time on the phone with pharmacies and our insurance because we forgot one of the boys meds. The reality of the disease quickly set in, and the feelings of hope and things being different for our boys felt so far away. We were still so thankful to be able to have this trip, and we filled our buckets with awesome memories together! Sometimes there’s an ebb and flow to the emotions in caring for two children who are chronically ill…but we will not let this disease stand in the way of our boys having wonderful childhood memories…and God’s grace is sufficient. He always carries us through.
The weather in Cali was hot, but it made for beautiful ocean temps, and gave us a plethora of gnarly boogie boarding memories!
God gave us a beautiful sunset for our sunset walk on the pier!
We took a little trip to ride the fairy and visit Balboa Island. So quaint and cute!!
We told the kids that we were going to take them to Knotts Berry Farm before we left for California. That led to watching videos on just about every ride they have at the park…multiple times. Beck was convinced, and beyond excited to ride the “Octopus Ride”. That’s all we heard about for 40 days. Asher was just looking forward to riding all of the big rides, because he was going to be tall enough to ride all but a few. We had to make countdown calendars for the boys. Here’s Beck, trying to be patience for the Octopus Ride :).
What’s crazy is that after all the build up, we finally get to the Octopus Ride, and it was closed down! Thankfully we only had to wait a few hours for it to open back up…and Punkie’s dream was made :). He was stoked!
This is the sweetest!!!
Little sunset swim.
I’m just so thankful they have each other.
Nov 2015
We took a day trip to Horton Creek, which is a little over an hour away. I just love living by the mountains. It’s so fun to be able to drive an hour or two and escape the summer heat for camping and hiking. It was so wonderful to let the boys run through the woods and wade through the chilly creek water.
Skim Board Sunday! Nothing like a $12 garage sale score :).
Crazy Hair Day at school. Asher wanted “American Flag colors” and a mohawk…and of course Beck had to be just like big brother :).
And then this. Oh my gosh, ha! Asher wanted to bring Beck to the bathroom at the store, so I stood in one of the aisles outside because I figured it was a harmless way for Asher to show me he can take good care of his brother. I hear loud cackling going on in there, and I saw a lady walk out of the bathroom smiling and chuckling, so I figured it was time I intervened. I opened the door to this, ha! I do love this picture. I see a little brother who wanted to emulate his big brother. I see team work. I see a big brother taking care of his little brother by doing all he could to help him wash his hands. As crazy as it looks, I still consider this a victory :).
The boys LOVE going to this arcade! This is their favorite part :).
Beck is doing awesome at his swim lessons! He graduated to the next class. He’s a Sea Lion now :).
Asher has been loving baseball with Coach Brian! It’s his first year playing on the Grays, and it’s an honor to be on the team!
This was his first baseball game ever, and he was first up to bat. Of course he wasn’t nervous a bit…but pretty excited that he creamed it :).
Cheering squad :).
Painting and popcorn date with my little :).
Sweetest little ABC’s and toe tappin’ song…
This happens more times than not. I just love how much he adores his brother.
This is why he misses his brother. They have so much crazy fun together :).
Daddy taught in big church. I gave Asher my phone to take notes on it while he taught. This is what he wrote. Talk about the sweetest keepsake ever!
Oct 2015
Asher is in 2nd grade! He really is made for school. He puts on a big show about how he’s excited for breaks, and I think he legitimately loves being home and not on a schedule, but he lights up at school. He loves being around friends. He loves learning. He loves being a teacher’s helper. He loves it all. And, we’re so thankful for our school and their condensed schedule so that he can still have mornings hanging out with his brother, and we’re not super rushed for treatments.
First day of school!
He loves being silly and laughing!
And, Beck. Oh my gosh, this was a hard day for you. You just went from getting all of brother’s attention for a really long summer break…to crickets. This picture will always make me smile. I’ll never forget pulling away from school and you saying over and over, “I just miss my brodder.”
I tried to take your mind off things, but Asher is a tough act to follow :).
You made the biggest cookie I’ve ever seen for Asher.
The socks. So cute!
Beck at Asher’s open house. When we showed him where Asher was going to be sitting, he sat down, opened up his folder, and started eating the apple that Asher’s teacher gave to each of her students…actually, I think he snagged someone else’s, because Asher’s is behind his nameplate right here, lol!
So much school talk, that we needed to start doing school time with Punkie :). He’s such a smart little guy!
This is us, thankful for Daddy building a clubhouse with air conditioning and electricity and a tv because the air in our house was not working. Pizza, cool air, tv and each other in a little refuge…not too bad :).
Waiting for the doctor and playing simon says. This is Beck wiggling his nose :).
This picture says so much about Asher. He puts his whole heart into everything he does. I love this about him.
Beck, wanting to be just like brother. Both our boys are pretty incredible. All they go through, and still so much joy. We’re blessed.
Treatment times are way better snuggled with Grandma.
Happy Birthday, Grandma!!
Fun Family time riding the light rail to the Rattlers Game! Thank you Hope Kids for blessing our entire family!!
Our neighbors said we could use their pool! Ok :).
This is my ice cream date, ha!
New kicks :). So cute!
My shopping buddy. Every time we go to Target we have to get a picture on the red balls. Every time. I love lots. I’m going to have to make him a red ball book for his graduation, lol! So cute!
My little chocolate lover. I’m not even sure what it he was eating, but I’m certain it was chocolate. That’s a safe bet. I’ve never known someone to crave chocolate so much on an hourly basis, ha!
Making robots 🙂
Fun times with Ms. Lorraine!
“I do it myself” :). He does an awesome job!
Here’s the difference right here between the boys. Asher, happy to pose for me for a picture, and Beck hiding behind his jump ropes, ha! Love them both!
Asher was so proud of, “Beck’s invention” for brushing teeth, ha!
The boys doing Dance Central. So stinking cute!
The day I volunteer in his classroom he happens to lose a tooth. Now that’s good timing!
More dates. And, a smile this time :). I’m loving this time that Beck and I have together with just us. I had a lot of it with Asher too. Blessed to have so much one on one time with the boys!
Asher’s teacher sent us this note and these pictures. So proud of him!!!
“You should all feel so proud of your child! They received a super special Pillar Award for being an amazing citizen and displaying characteristics that we want to see all children display at our school! Dr. McCamman read the Pillar Awards over the announcements for the entire school to hear! I am so proud of them and each one brings so much joy to my heart and I feel so fortunate to be their teacher.”
Beating the heat. He really tried hard sitting on the inter tube, and then just gave up and start dive bombing in, ha!
A couple of pictures I came across that I forgot to include from our MN trip. The boys and I took this hike up a really high hill. It was hot and humid so we were all sweaty, but it was so pretty and I was really proud of the boys for handling the not so easy hike.
Again. The difference. Sheer joy in Asher from the parrot puppet the ventriloquist brought out, to debilitating fear in Beck, ha! Right after this Beck bolted out of there, ha! But he did go back when he saw that Asher was called up front. He just marched up to stand next to his brother, and Asher introduced him to the crowd :).
Special dates with Daddy are hands down the best.
Oct 2015
Turtle Races. A perfect balance of weird and sweet nostalgia :). It just makes me smile that I get to bring the boys to these races every year!
Grandpa took the boys on a train ride around the city. Too cute :).
This has quickly become a tradition as well. Hard to beat pickin’ fresh berries and smashing them in your mouths on the ride home! So pretty. So yummy.
Ha! Beck. Your face is cracking me up!
Beck is in the background moving the nice, hard-working, farmer lady’s “start picking here” flag. Ha! Such a circus…but it’s our circus, and we love them so much :).
Then the boys and I added a little adventure onto our tradition, and checked out a new area. We will absolutely be back. We had the best time running around climbing trees, rolling around in the grass together, and checking out an old flour mill.
Being silly and laughing together. Always their favorite.
Big brother helping Beck to “climb” a tree :).
Their matching tongues are so cute.
Asher grabbed some of my most favorite pictures with Punkie Bear. So proud of him, and so thankful to have these keepsakes! Beck’s squishy cheeks will always be on my favorites list.
For some reason, Beck HAD to stand like this after he rolled the ball down. What a crack up!
Sweetness.
Grandma and Grandpa took us to the state fair! It was so fun watching the boys light up with carnie delight :). Asher walked away with this! I still cannot believe this happened. His very first game, his very last ring to toss, and he nails the middle bottle. When does that ever happen?! When you flew somewhere for sure, ha! Grandma and Grandpa are driving down for Christmas, so until then, he awaits the return of his beloved Pikachu. So cute :).
Major photo props to my dad, who grabbed all the pictures of us enjoying the day!
Asher and I trying to get Beck’s attention on the swings, ha!
Guns out suns out. He even has a scar on his cheek to go along with the tough look, ha!
We were hoping the ride people would include the spike in his height :). I feel like we’re out of this stage now, which is sad, so this is a throw back to when Beck would ask every morning, “Mom, can I have crazy hair!!!!” 🙂
Grandma got to introduce the boys to her favorite ride, the Tilt’a Whirl. Can’t you just hear the giggling and little screams of delight :).
How cute is this! Grandma and Grandpa registered the boys to be in the Dent Days Parade. Asher drove the golf cart, and Beck threw out candy to all the kids, lol! So cute!
I forgot to include in part 1 that Jeremy and I flew separately with the boys. We both enjoyed getting special airplane dates with the boys :).
That’s a wrap Summer at the Lake 2015. It was an awesome vacation. Thank you so much, Mom and Dad!!!
I came across these sweet pics after the last post and just had to include them. This is from Daddy and Asher’s last backpacking trip that ended in a mad dash out to the emergency room. They’ll be back though. So beautiful. Asher, you are blessed to have a Daddy who wants to give you childhood memories together in the woods.
Sep 2015
Well, it’s almost Christmas time and I’m just posting about this past Summer…oh well…too many wonderful memories to skip over!
First and most important, Daddy was nominated by our friend, Justin, and won the Father of the Year Award awarded by Channel 3 TV! We were all so thankful for Justin’s thoughtfulness in nominating the one who we know is so worthy of this title! We were blessed with a huge check (literally, ha!), a fun night out with family and friends, and a forever memory. The boys and I are so blessed! We love our Father of the Year!
Asher’s first backpacking trip! Everything was going beautifully…until, a fly flew into Asher’s ear! Asher was screaming in pain because the fly was alive and freaking out and pounding against his ear drum. Poor thing. He was in pretty rough shape. Of course they had just setup camp and were enjoying the adventure when it happened. Jeremy had to throw everything into their bags and rush out of the woods to get Asher to the emergency room. It was pretty traumatic for both Daddy and Asher. Thankfully, there was no damage done. I guess now Asher has a good story to tell to his buddies :).
Before the whole fly incident happened, Daddy and Asher did enjoy their time. They found a really cool cave, and Asher wanted to film a little segment for his tv audience. I think he was inspired by Daddy’s debut :).
The boys and I were busy cramming in a few fun activities before we left for the lake. It’s so wonderful not having a school schedule to work around, and to be able to have Asher along with us! We hit up the dollar theater, Beck’s favorite thing (escalators), and Asher’s favorite (The Dinosaur Museum), Family Fun at the arcade, batting cages and baseball camp with Coach Brian.
This is going to go down as one of my favorite Asher compilations. At the museum they have a tv playing old shows, and you can be a part of the show. I’m thinking Asher would really enjoy theater :). I couldn’t stop taking pictures, he was cracking me up!!
Punkie tried too…and had kisses for his brother :).
Beck’s first Diamonbacks game! He had so much fun! But, he definitely did not like the huge bobble heads, and he had so much anxiety at the mere mention of taking a picture with them, ha!
Punkie Bear got pretty sick. It was awful…but, I’ll never forget him squeezing on to me and us cuddling for a few days. You’ve always been the best cuddler, Punkie.
So blessed to be able to bring the boys for an extended amount of time to one of our most favorites places on earth! We’re so thankful Grandma and Grandpa don’t mind us moving in and making their home loud and active for a month :). The boys love going to the lake to see Grandma and Grandpa, and playing outside for endless hours!
Grandma and Grandpa bought Asher a Chopper! We still cannot get over this. He has a motocycle. He’s 7, ha! He did look pretty cool riding it :).
The first time Jeremy and I let the boys go down to the turn around by themselves. It was sweet. Asher felt so big being responsible for brother :).
So beautiful.
One of many strolls around the lake.
I can’t get over how much Asher loves to fish. He’s not quite keen on the idea of taking the fish he catches off the hook, but that can be a scary thing with all the fins and wiggling. He has amazing patience for this sport! Beck, on the other hand, went fishing with Grandma and Grandpa, and he just let go of his pole and dropped it in the lake. He said, “I fish no more.” LOL!
Lots of water fun!
Lots of trips to the sandbar to play around and adventure for treasures.
My parents friends let us borrow their canoe so we were able to enjoy some adventuring around the lake. We even saw a beaver working hard on his home!
You’re so cute, Punkie.
Fashion Show!
4th of July on the lake. Pontoon parade, tubing, guns and fireworks :). The display on the lake was pretty spectacular. We had about 10 different shows lighting up the sky and the lake. So pretty!
Jeremy and I were honored to host a wedding anniversary party for my parents, and celebrate their 40 years of marriage!
Thanks Auntie Dana for coming to help, and capturing wonderful memories of the night!
Aug 2015
Our trip to Mexico needed it’s own post! We had so many beautiful, relaxing memories…and pictures :). We’ve never stayed right on the beach before. Literally. On. The. Beach. It was amazing to wake up and fall asleep to the ocean; enjoy all our meals with the backdrop of the ocean; grill by the ocean; even just laying around watching tv with the crashing waves in the background was amazing! We were so blessed by friends, and gifted their place to stay for five glorious days. This will go down as one of our most favorite family vacations.
Here follows a bunch of pictures, in no particular order, but all together a beachy-goodness story…
Beck was ready for the beach and using his “shuggle” (shovel) before we left the neighborhood :).
We have never had a beach experience like this one before. Every morning the tide went out about 100-200 feet, revealing the reef and a bunch of sea critters that we enjoyed discovering. It made for fun, morning adventure time with our coffee and the boys. It was so unique and memorable. We even found a baby octopus! Most days in the morning the waves were so little, and resembled more of a lake than an ocean, which made it possible for us to walk out really far and checkout some higher spots in the ocean that were little sandy islands. Then at night the tide would come in and we would have waves to jump. It was such a fun experience!
The neighbors we were next to were so amazing with the boys. And, they had Sam. Sam is their dog, whom Asher befriended, and still to this day he talks about Sam. They were buds. Asher is really scared of dogs, so this was a big deal.
Beck. It’s hard not to laugh at this! Crying with the beautiful ocean behind you, ha!
Punkie really picked up photography while we were there :). He was constantly snatching my camera. Here is the master hard at work, and some of the shots he took. Mexico through the lenses of a 3 year old. So cute.
I love this picture. Asher, this is a perfect imagine to show you how much you can trust your daddy. He will always do whatever he can to protect and care for you.
Portraits for keeps!
We got a beautiful sunset for our dinner up on a cliff!
What a blessing to have this wonderful trip over Mother’s Day too! Such a memorable day of hanging out, seeing dolphins, jumping waves with the boys, and just celebrating our family.
Thank you, friends, for blessing us with this beautiful trip we’ll always remember!
Jul 2015
I may have made this claim before, but this really is one of my most favorite videos of Beck. I just wanted to capture this sweet stage with him with a little interview. His talk about crunchy and spicy chips and his little scraunched up nose are too much cuteness. Plus, he was willing to look at a camera, so that was a major victory and made this totally blog-worthy!
We had our first Olimb Camp Out together up on the rim and it was beautiful! Besides the fact that few of us slept, it was gorgeous scenery and so fun to roam around in the woods together! And, God gave us the most beautiful sunset that night!
This. Is. Punkie.
These boys are really amazing. We pray for the day when they can just go camping.
The boys made a Mother’s Day video, and it’s awesome! Punkie and his passion for the stage, and Asher and his love and grace for his brother just make my heart explode. They are so cute!
They really look like brothers here :).
Special date with this cutie.
More laughs and cuddles with Grandma Olimb and Grandma Joy Joy!
We ended the month with Asher graduating from 1st grade! He had such a wonderful year. His favorite things were math, and playing soccer with his friends at recess. We were blessed with another amazing teacher. She was perfect for Asher. She let him be silly, and she encouraged his imagination. We’ll never forget Ms. Powell and her love for Asher. When she was talking to me about him, she grabbed her heart and said, “Oh Asher…I’ll never forget him.” He was special to her…he’s special to all of us. Congratulations big boy! We’re so proud of you!
Jun 2015
This really couldn’t get more awesome. These two songs are pretty much on repeat in our home. There are not too many car rides that go without a request from one of the boys. Asher = “Call Me Al” and Beck = “Best Shot”. There is so much going on in these videos. Asher’s dance moves for one, lol!!!
Good Friday and Easter. We had a couple of beautiful services at church. Jeremy and I will never forget the Good Friday service of 2015. Asher took communion for the first time. It was a special time with just the three of us taking communion together, praying, and singing songs to our Lord! Asher, Daddy and Mommy pray for you hard every day. That you would grow in your love and knowledge of the Lord. That you would be devoted to Him. That you would trust His great love for you, even when hard things in life happen. And, that you would believe with all your heart that Jesus came down from Heaven to rescue you. We love you so much, Asher! This was one of our most favorite nights with you!
They’re so cute! Beck is wearing the little suit that Grandma Olimb sewed for Jeremy when he was little :).
Easter Egg Hunt and decorating at Grandma’s!
Traditional Easter Egg Hunt with our Hoverson family!
One morning I covered all the rooms in the house looking for Beck…then I noticed him sitting outside with his blanket looking at the birds. It was so peaceful and sweet.
Sleepy boy :).
We had our Great Strides Walk for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation this month! God blessed us with the most beautiful day!!! We had so many people come out on a Sunday morning to be a part of our team, and show their love and support of our family. It was incredible, and we felt so loved!
Grandma Necas came to be with us too, which was awesome! The boys had so much fun with her :).
On that CF note. Asher has had a pretty rough cough for awhile, and it had gotten worse and progressed over our last three clinic visits. It just got to the point that we needed to get to the bottom of his cough. He needed to have a CT scan and Bronch to help us collect some data on where his lungs and airways are at, and if he was growing any bacteria that we needed to treat. Overall we were super encouraged by his results! We’ve added an inhaled steroid to his daily regiment, and it seems to be just what his little body needed to bring down the inflammation and help him to breathe easier. These tests were hard on both Asher and us to prepare for, but we’re thankful we have the option to run these tests and try to stay ahead of cystic fibrosis as much as we can.
We are so thankful for Mr. Austin, and all his time and effort in teaching Asher piano every week! It’s really such a gift he is blessing Asher with to have always. And what’s even better is that Grandma knows how to play piano too, so we get to have mini concerts when they play together :).
Both the boys got haircuts. Asher’s was quite drastic. He hasn’t had short hair since he was Beck’s age. He went from being really upset about getting trims, to all of a sudden wanting it all cut off. I do miss your locks, Asher, but you’re handsome however you want your hair!
As if we didn’t already love Arizona…then we traveled south for the first time. The rolling prairie lands, mountains as the backdrop, vineyards…it’s so so beautiful and has my heart! Thank you, Grandma and Grandpa Olimb and Grandma Joy Joy for letting Jeremy and I get away to enjoy all this!
And, I totally missed some memory keepers from last month! Auntie Dana came for a visit, which makes everyone happy, and makes for more fun family memories together!
And, this was so cute. Beck and Asher got the privilege to go to their friends birthday party with little carnival rides, which the boys loved riding.
But this was the funniest part about the whole day, and it didn’t dawn on me until looking at this picture, and coupled with the “cake incident”. This was Beck’s second birthday party that he had been to, the week before his actual birthday. So at home we were getting him excited for his special day…except that we kept taking him to his friends parties. I’m sure he was feeling like, “this is great, but when is my party” ha! I guess the frustration came to a head when he blew out his little friends birthday candles after we sang Happy Birthday to her!! Good night. Thankfully his little friends, and sweet momma didn’t think anything of it! He just couldn’t handle it anymore, ha!
Such a fun April!!!
